The Timber Yard - Port Melbourne, Melbourne
We are very pleased to announce the Wine and Cheese Fest will be staged at the amazing The Timber Yard.
The Timber Yard is built on the philosophy of recycling, up cycling and bringing people together for amazing events. Located on 6,000 sqm, comprised of indoor and outdoor space, in the Port Melbourne industrial precint, The Timber Yard is a landmark Melbourne venue of unprecedented size and event felxibility.
The site has been restored remaining true to its heritage of second hand timber storager and fabrication. The Timber Yard is an urban sanctuary designed to bring the flavour and personality of the country into the city.
Carriageworks - Eveleigh, Sydney
We’re thrilled that the inaugural Wine & Cheese Fest Sydney will be housed in a historic railway workshop on Gadigal Country.
Carriageworks is a Sydney institution, and is one of Australia’s most significant creative industry hubs. Housed in a historic railway workshop, Carriageworks offers a vibrant platform for contemporary art, theatre, music, dance and more, collaborating with artists to foster innovation and creativity in its distinctive industrial setting.
The Wine and Chesse Fest respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Port Melbourne land, the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation and pays respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

Wine & Cheese Fest is an annual celebration of Australia’s finest food and wine producers, bringing together passionate artisans, boutique wineries, cheesemakers, and gourmet creators from across the country.
Important Legal Notices
- It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years.
Penalty exceeds $19,000. - It is an offence for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor.
Penalty exceeds $800. - The Festival reserves the right to refuse service or entry to any person who is intoxicated, underage, or behaving in a disorderly or unsafe manner.
Our Commitment to Responsible Service
The Wine & Cheese Fest is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone.
We work closely with State Police, the Liquor Regulators and local authorities to ensure compliance with all licensing requirements.
To support responsible consumption:
- Water is available free of charge throughout the venue.
- RSA-trained staff monitor and manage alcohol service.
- Attendees are encouraged to drink responsibly and plan safe transport home.
